Hampton Inn & Suites New Albany Columbus

Good hotel and good location to access places in the greater Columbus area. The breakfast was really good, felt like a notch or two above the typical Hampton Inn fare.

Clean rooms and great service. The "continental breakfast" is not your typical continental breakfast. The guy cooking was amazing. Eggs, fried potatoes with smoked sausage/kielbasa, fresh made Belgian waffles, biscuits with sausage gravy, just to name a few. The breakfast is worth the stay by itself.

When I arrived to the property it was a surprise for my wife for our wedding anniversary. I went to check in and was greeted with joy, smiles and love. I got checked in and got into my clean room where I was so happy to be. My wife needed more towels and I called down for more and they had them to me within 3 minutes. I’m very happy with the hospitality of this hotel and the amazing breakfast. Me and my wife didn’t have to go buy breakfast because of how amazing the hotel breakfast was. My wife and I are so happy with the hotel choice this was a 10/10 experience I will be back again.

I had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn! The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The customer service was outstanding and truly made the experience even better. The morning front desk staff member was especially memorable very friendly, professional, and welcoming. She had a pretty face and beautiful curly hair, and her warm personality made check in smooth and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay.

Update ; During my stay, I needed to use the hotel’s laundry room and noticed that both the washer and dryer operated only with quarter coins, which was fine since it was just $1 each. I asked the two ladies at the front desk if I could get some coins, but they told me they had none. When I asked where I could find coins, they responded sarcastically, as if it wasn’t their concern. I spent about 10–15 minutes searching and eventually found the coins myself. After returning to the hotel, I needed to buy detergent. When I asked the same two front desk employees, they went inside and brought it out. I gave them $10, and when they opened the register to give me change, I saw plenty of coins inside. I asked why they didn’t give me coins earlier, and their answer was very rude—they said they were not obligated to do so. Because of this unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, I will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was nice. Very quiet. The breakfast was good. We only eat carnivore-ish, and the meat and egg selection were great. The beds were a little creaky metal when getting on and off the bed, but otherwise comfortable. The room was clean. They stated they were remodeling some rooms, but we were there over the holiday weekend and didn't hear or see any construction. We definitely would stay here again.

This is my new favorite place to stay when I'm in town. Everything was perfect and above expectations. Friendly, welcoming environment. Delicious breakfast (my favorite meal of the day.) Quiet, comfy, clean, rooms. Easy parking. Pet friendly. Indoor pool. Very nice area, plenty to do. Literally, everything you could ask for. From the moment we walked in the door, until the moment we left, we were satisfied with our visit and stay. Looking forward to coming back in the summer.

Everything from calling to make a reservation to check in was fast and flawless. The young lady thay checked me in quite busy and handled it great! The gentlemen that is working the overnight shift is absolutely amazing! You can twll customer service comes natural to him! I'd say Hilton is very lucky to have him! I travel about 3 weeks out of the month before work come across a lot of personalities. It was a absolute pleasure staying here and look forward to staying again when back in the area!
